*Disclaimer: YOU NEED A CANVA PRO ACCOUNT TO COMPLETE THIS TUTORIAL

Pinterest Templates are a great tool to use for your own business as a way to provide Freebies to your audience to gain traffic, as well as a great product to sell to your ideal customers.

If you are familiar with marketing on Pinterest then you know that Designing Pinterest Pins takes time.

And now that Pinterest favors NEW FRESH pins, you need to create more and more pins daily to keep up.

Well, Pinterest Pin Templates are the answer.

They are fully customizable so that you, your audience, or your customer can edit them and add their branding as well as drag and drop new images into the design.

Branding edits may include adding brand colors, logos, and fonts to make the pins represent a specific business.

And the best part is you can use the same template for a variety of content and not have to design a new pin every time you want to promote something.

So where do we create these incredibly useful Pinterest Pin Templates you ask?

On the magical platform of Canva!

If you don't already have a Canva Pro Account, you can sign up for one HERE.

Now before you create your template, there are 4 things to keep in mind…

TIP #1

Make sure to use FREE fonts and FREE elements in your design if you are using your template as a freebie or for a customer to purchase.

This ensures that whoever uses the template will be able to use everything in the design if they only have the FREE Version of Canva.

To find FREE elements, you can either hover over a graphic and it will show up as either ‘FREE’ or ‘Pro with a crown.’

Or you can click on the icon to the right of the search bar and check the box ‘FREE’ to filter out what Free graphics you can use for your design.

TIP #2

Make sure to use frames under elements to input pictures for your pin template. That way it is super simple and easy to drag and drop in new photos as they are used for various content.

TIP #3

Add ‘yourwebsite.com’ to the bottom of the Pin Template so that it is BLATANTLY CLEAR where someone can promote their website for their business.

TIP #4

Use a variety of design elements under frames, shapes, lines, and arrows to create different eye-catching designs.

Once done, click the share button on the top right corner of Canva and select Template Link to share your design with others.

Happy Pinning! :)
